Response to a reader question from tumblr.

Aww, no, I love dogs, really.  I wouldn't wish a fate like Mordecai and Viktor on a one of them...not even a yappy type dog. 
Cats are just stand-ins for humans in the comic.  Any non-feline types of pets would still apply.  I don't tend to put a lot of emphasis on that, though, because as we can see here, it just adds another level of absurdity to cats-with-guns.  (Yeah, yeah, I know - pig farmers.  Shut up.)
